I have been on Remeron since 2005 and it was great once it was paired with Effexor in 2007. The big down side is the fatigue hangovers and huge weight gain. What I have found is that medication seems to work or not - it is best just to give it a try and see I know a new drug is scary - I recently (2 weeks ago) switched from Remeron to Abilify - Anxiety went a little high and I am still on the fence about if it is working.
