It's not usually this hard I guess they were just busy this week. Normally I call they say yes and I show up an hour later easy peasy. As for the cast, they were being really idiotic and had to call three supervisors to get clearance for me to be in I it AND once there they took away my crutches and took 24 hours to get me a wheelchair which was too big to fit in the doorway of my bedroom and bathroom but still refused. Me my crutches. I have never been so furious in my life re hospital treatment. To top it off they referred me to AA for my drug and alcohol problem, saying I came in high. I had come from ER due to needing stitches and had blood work and all that was in my blood was prescribed Percocet from my surgery and Xanax for my anxiety and they argued me down I was on cocaine and alcohol til I asked to see my blood test then suddenly oops sorry we made a mistake.

The problem here is that only the ****** county run hospital is attached to the psych ward. It is not a place you want to go.

All the quality (and I use this term very loosely bc they all suck in different ways) are NOT side by side with medical facilities. They stand alone and if you need medical clearance an ambulance is called and you have to be discharged to them and then read mitted afterwards which is a hassle. It's why I go directly to them unless I need stitched up.

In which case I go to a tiny local hospital that NEVER EVER keeps me. Ever. They only have 6 beds and they always stitch and release leaving me free to go choose the psych hospital is like to go to IF I'd like to go there at all. I once got stitched there and told them I was going to kill myself and they discharged me with a Percocet script lol.
