Dear Outlawed Spirit and others that posted,
Mornings are my toughest time by far. I think part of my anxiety rises from the anticipation of going to work. Once there I'm generally fine, but given enough time to anticipate all that could go wrong and my myriad of high expectations and perfectionism - I soon become non-functional. It's not easy for me to accept the philosophy of "do the best you can." That's one of the issues I'm working on with my therapist. Learning to become aware of my need to be perfect and then I begin to second guess my performance until I'm so overwhelmed I can't think or concentrate at all.
