yeah okie it can be hard when some forums allow threads that list folks and others do not. whenever anyone creates a list it opens the opportunity for someone to feel left out if they weren't on the list. some threads in kudos or creative can be hard to read when they're listing folks that ppl want to thank or give kudos for as if we're not on one of the lists we might feel forgotten about or unwanted or other feelings that go along w/ not being included.

but online, like RL, has many groups from which to choose to be with. often when feeling like one group has snubbed there might be five other groups ready with open arms to accept new folks into their fold.

with disease/disorder how one views group dynamics varies with the degree of illness. when depression or anxiety for us are high then we read things into situations that aren't there. our depression colours how we perceive things. when feeling cruddy we see only the cruddy and negative around. when not feeling so low from depression we can use more rational thinking to challenge thoughts of not being included or such.

we hope you can see that this isn't a popularity contest or anything like that. it is merely a silly thought that a member had and wondered what others input would be.

it is easy to see how it could be read differently when the mind isn't running on all pistons.

((okie)) hope you know that whether or not you're on anyones "list" you matter, you count and you're worth it.
