I think I hear you saying that a neighbor, despite the fact that they knew it was an issue, let their dog out at night, and it attacked your horses. Horses you obviously loved as family members. I'm so sorry!
The event traumatized you so much that you ended up in a psych ward. When you got out, your pdoc suggested your GP could continue to prescribe your meds. He got angry for some unknown reason and threw your records at you..
You looked at your medical record and saw a diagnosis of NPD.
Is that what happened?

What the hell is wrong with your GP? What in the world would cause him to react in that way?

It sounds like you are also actively involved with a lawsuit against the neighbor to hold him accountable for his actions... Good for you.

How are things going now? When do you go to court? Or did that already happen? How long ago did this happen?

Wow. Are you currently working with another pdoc? One who understands that you may have been misdiagnosed as NPD, when in fact you are most likely suffering from PTSD?

I'm so sorry you are in this situation. It sounds so frustrating!
