I posted here a couple months ago about not being able to get my antidepressant meds because of insurance.
At the time, I was WAY depressed and my neurologist wanted to put me on something. Since the whole mess though and not getting them, I've done work in the program I use to stay sober to help me through being so upset with the fact that I have MS, and have been doing much much better.
So my question is, I'm not sure if I should go on the antidepressants now. The doctor found the one that my insurance will approve (I don't know the name of it).
I still have ups and downs, but they're much more normal now, just the typical ups and downs that everyone has, so I'm just not sure I need the meds. I see him again in May...so maybe I should wait and talk to him about it before I go get the prescription?
Does anyone out there have experience with getting prescribed something but then feeling better? Did you take it anyway? I'm just not sure here....so I wanted ya'lls opinions. Thanks in advance.
