It helps me too to be around, close to wildlife and in nice calming natural/green areas. Sounds like you were doing a bit of mindfulness outdoors. I like to be near water, by seaside or river and also in parks. I have a nice backgarden as well where I live with a pond and I see plenty of birds, bees, sometimes dragonflies and butterflies and rabbits come to visit too (saw 4 all together at once yesterday).
