For example, you don't need to feel guilty about not being torn up over your grandma's passing. She had lived a long life, and if you are a religious person, then you know she is now in a better place. Plus, you were still numb from what happened the day before.
And it is possible that your grandpa might have responded a bit when he was in a coma had you come. But that doesn't mean he would have come out of it. Plus he had lived a long life, too, and was likely suffering.
