Thanks for replying, SecretGarden. As others have suggested, I think talking about the points I raised in my first post would be a good idea, and also I still need to learn how to deal with seeing certain news stories, I think.

The job is my parents' idea, and the hours will probably be whoever's going to be my boss's idea, I guess. I don't know if I'll be able to be too picky about when I work.
