I don't think this applies to everyone with a high IQ. A lot of them know their field but cannot function in the randomness of the real world.

IQ is just one dimension of us. It does not it reveal a lot about a person's character so I don't think it is significant. All it really reveals is academic potential. Potential is bolded because it also involves belief, interest and commitment. A person with an average IQ can easily get on the dean's list if they work at it.


If I took an IQ test I would not do well. Why? I have bad test anxiety and cannot solve puzzles, word problems etc in front of people.
