Sounds like a quack to me! You really shouldn't be on prozac if you're mixed. Many pdocs don't prescribe SSRIs to bipolar patients at all. I'm on prozac, and I'm not sure if it has helped me (I rarely get depressed) or made me worse (I have more frequent hypomanias and more intense symptoms).
