I was prescribed Klonopin to take twice a day if needed, after developing anxiety/panic attacks this spring.
Ativan as needed during the night, especially when the vivid sad, memories of seeing my dad dieing in 2002 that haunt me when I am about to fall asleep, so the meds help.
I guess if anxiety is the origin of some people's depression, then anti-anxiety meds can be of help.
