Hi everyone, I'm new to this support group. I hope I'm posting correctly.
A little history: I've suffered from treatment-resistant clinical depression since I was 12 years old, I'm now 58. I've been in therapy since the 70's. I've tried every medication there is, hypnosis, acupuncture, ... Nothing has worked.
Does anyone have any experience with TMS? I've tried for 2 years to get my insurance to pay for it, but they won't. It costs $275 - $300 per session and at least 25 sessions would be needed. There is only 1 dr in my state who performs this procedure. I've appealed to his compassion, but to no avail. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
