I'm really sorry to hear about your situation. My heart breaks for you.

When I was hospitalized, I went six weeks before I saw my daughter who was three. After that I was able to see her 1x per week for six months. It broke my heart and caused a lot of tears. However, a year later- I accept that it was what was needed to ensure my health and well-being for the long term. I still have trouble emotionally processing that period of my life but it will get better for you as long as you continue fighting for your health and well-being.
