It's really a shame, she could have at least tried to be accommodating. Too bad, you couldn't have been there, at least once prior to moving, to get a feel for how she lives. Hindsight is 20/20, lesson hopefully learned. I'm sure, there'd had been no hiding the brunt of her reality. And that she'd waited until last minute, to disclose, no wonder you are making plans to vacate, without notice.

Nine months seems much longer than what you describe wanting to overcome.
