I'm in Massachusetts and have now asked SSDI no fewer than 3 times if I need to report the income I make on a MONTHLY basis as long as it is less than $770 and my income doesn't change. All 3 times, SSDI said, "no."

(To be clear, I was required to tell SSDI other stuff once (not MONTHLY): 1. That I was working. 2. How much I was making. 3. What I was doing to earn money. And they told me there's no need to contact them MONTHLY unless something changes.)

Everyone else in the world, besides these 3 SSDI reps, seems to think the opposite. I guess I'll just believe SSDI.

And I asked SSDI if this information is in writing somewhere. The answer is, "no."

Your thoughts?
