Hi all - new to the forums. Diagnoses and Meds are in the signature.

I was just diagnosed with bipolar disorder (I asked the doc if it was 1 or 2, and he said it's 1, simply because I have had several hospital stays; not sure whether his philosophy on that is popular belief).

Anyway, I was on a lot of meds before, but now he has added the Depakote to the mix, and prozac for my PMS. Does it seem like I am on a lot of meds for my conditions? I am confused by the idea of doubling up anti-psychotics. Has anyone had any experiences with any of these meds conflicting with each other?
