Hi Mrspotatohead, welcome to psychcentral. I went on Prozac for my PMDD also and for awhile there upped the dosage from ovulation to the end of my cycle. My current pdoc says to stay on a steady dose throughout. My pdoc also says both Wellbutrin and the anti-psychotic I'm on (Abilify) affect dopamine, but different kinds of dopamine. So I'm thinking that different APs affect different things in the brain. Does that help?
