Hi fox, I am going through the same thing. For me I have the method the date etc. I have not told anyone I know for the same reasons but I have been emailing a group called the Samaritans. They ask why you feel this way, how etc. They don't try to talk you in or out of anything. They just make it so you are not alone with whatever decision you make. They ask you questions based off your emails discuss the finality of death, what you think is on the other side. It's far better than having to call. What you talk about with them is confidential.
