I took a gap year after my first year of uni - I worked for 6 months and then went traveling for three months with some friends - I found that this year really helped re-motivate me into going back to uni as it cleared my head ! Now that I've finished my degree and almost finished my honours year, I'm contemplating taking another gap year this time using it to gain some experience in the field.
