It sounds like you have had so many stressful events to deal with over the past year. A breakup with a longtime boyfriend can be so hard, especially with all the other things going on in your life. I can understand working at a job you don't like on a temporary basis, but when you are going to school, pick a major that is something you will enjoy doing as a profession. Pick something that works for you and your talents and abilities. Be careful not to be pushed into a major that doesn't suit well for you by parents and family. This happened to me when I was young and led to a lot of regret. Anyway, welcome, we will support you as best we can. Best of wishes.
