Thank you travelinglady I have already spoken to my psychiatrist as well as two OBGYN's about it. The psychiatrist and one OBGYN (a new one, since my regular doc wasn't available on short notice) said they didn't know of any correlation between Vyvanse and birth control/menstruation. But when I spoke to my regular OBGYN, who put my bc implant in originally, she said there could be a link between the Vyvanse and bc, that the Vyvanse makes the bc metabolize faster in my system rendering it less effective. However this doesn't make sense to me since the bc is going directly to my bloodstream 24/7, though maybe it can still make a difference. Basically I've concluded that there is not enough medical research of this relationship for even the doctors to know what to do. My doctor admittedly said she does not know what to do or what the specific cause for my extra bleeding could be. So that is why I'm seeking answers from people who may have experienced a similar problem.
