Anyone here have physical pain associated with depression? I'm not sure what came first, the chicken or the egg. Let me explain. I lived through a severely emotionally stressful incident some time ago. Shortly thereafter I had an oral dental procedure done under general anesthesia. Immediately following that I came down with a multitude of symptoms that have since been wreaking havoc in my life....I have almost no muscle strength....severe muscle aches.....muscle spasms.....irritability....anxiety...sleeplessness....exhaustion and fatigue.... My t thinks antidepressants will help me. I think not. I'm not sure my physical symptoms are a result of toxic overload due to the anesthesia or a result of the severe emotional/psychological stress I have endured.
