I just tapered off Celexa almost 3 mths ago I'm a mess cause I need something but as for the actually withdrawal symptoms took 2 mths to be gone once I completely stopped taking it. Tapered off in 3 mth period after approx 7 yrs on it 40mg and that was way too fast a total 5 mths of hell. Only went off as it wasn't working like before getting the courage to start taking bupropion. My agoraphobia is getting in the way of starting even though I'm in emotional torment with my dx

If your really in a bad way slow down the taper all though I found from going quite fast I suppose that it wasn't any better the tapering vs stopping all together.. All the best know it doesn't last you will get through it
