I heard this answer so many times in my life. you have a real problem and go to the exact person that is supposed to help you with that and they just say: "fine. and what do you expect me to do now?" and each time I want to yell at them "your ****ing job!"
also got very rude answers when I started to look for help. I thought they make it as difficult as possible for anybody to get it. to scare people off. found that very hard because every single disappointment like this would make me want to give up immediately. and I did a couple of times.
they should really know that!!!
they should know people struggling don't have the power to fight all this dismissive behavior.
it makes me really angry. if you already feel like nobody cares and then they repeatedly show how they don't care....
keep on trying! it can be hard to find helpful people but they exist.
