Well it sounds like you had an awful experience with the doc that prescribed this particular BC. I can't blame you for being anxious. It takes some trial and error to find a good doc that you are comfortable with and that listens but it is definitely worth it. Sometimes you can find a good one by asking your regular doc.

I'm very lucky and my GP does my yearly physicals now. She's also given me the name of her Gynecologist. I've checked him out to see what I thought just in case I ever had an abnormal pap or something where I need an actual gynecologist. I usually have trouble with male docs of any sort but he seems really nice and put me at ease so I think he'd be ok.
