Perhaps it works differently depending on area then (didn't realise this). I'm in the East Midlands and here the Crisis Team are specifically a short term measure. I'm being referred to a community psychiatric nurse for longer term support and to develop my case file on a 1-1 rapport (whereas with the crisis team you get someone new each time and it can be hard to keep track).
