I grew up with the standard, "you say anything positive about yourself, you are vain". I hate that. That's right up there with, "PMS is in your head".

So I decided that when my hair looks good and my make-up looks ok, its ok to tell myself, "I look pretty". Or when you feel positive and give good advise you tell yourself, "awesome job".

Give yourself a pat on the back because no one else seem to be willing to do it.
