As for the stigma of all mental illnesses BPD (and most cluster B's) also have to deal with stigma that is often perpetrated by the mental health profession itself.

How many of us have been rejected for therapy without even having met the therapist?

As much as I keep telling myself it's good that they knew they weren't up to the task and left me for someone stronger.
I can't help but feel that maybe I should just give up. I am clearly unhelpable.

I know how you feel about giving up. I've been rejected by a few therapists too, and only just a few weeks ago

But, I'm still gonna try to get into a DBT program. Have you looked into DBT at all ?
