I'm on viiibryd and lamictal. It's simerler to abilify but has an added antidepressant. I still cycle but not nearly as harsh. Sometimes thats a bad thing. The anti depressant helps with my anxiety. If my parinoia or anxiety get to high I have a low dose of seroquel to take. It's also for if I develop sleep issues.

My husband takes lamictal, celexa, and abilify. They had to increase his abilify and celexa for decent mix to control both his bipolar a.nd OCD. His episodes have become "lighter" but longer.

My son takes lamictal, abilify and daytrana. Originally he tried all the Adhd meds to no avail. So we decided to focus on his mood issues. He started with lamictal because it was working for us. Then added datrana but his picking got worse so we added seriquel. Becoming considered about the amount of meds he was on we switched to abilify to remove lamictal and seroquel. We removed the seroqel and we were removing the lamictal.

We've noticed as our bipolar got better more issues have shown up. I would really disscuss your concern with you therapist or psychiatrist.
