Well the whole reason I am on SSI is because I cannot hold a job...and I think that is more if you are trying to get off SSI then you can start working part time up to a certain amount while keeping your benefits for a time...but once you are able to make enough they can kick you off.

But yeah if I could hold a part time job I'd be doing that, and wouldn't have bothered going through all the hassle to get SSI in the first place...not sure I'd be doing much better financially though in that case.
