When I was little, my grandparents had a tortoise called Fred. I used to love feeding him bits of lettuce and seeing his little pink tongue sticking out - I thought he was cute and I'm sure yours is too!

I hoped I was well and now I have no idea what I am----I'm sad about losing my bird----I didn't get to the work I needed to do last week so I'm behind on the grant----
Talked to my boss about what's going on she knows about my bird and the fact that I'm relapsed now---she said I've been doing great so that's good and I feel somewhat better....

You're very intelligent and high functioning Sometimes - you got that huge grant last time based on work you did while psychotic - so, even though you may not feel on top form, I'm sure that you're more than capable of doing your work to a high standard. And you have a good boss so I'm sure they'll encourage you to take some time off to rest if you need it

I can relate to this feeling

My brain just feels sooooo slow and stupid the last few years. It's so frustrating! But then I did a craft class last week and a lady couldn't understand/remember how to use a ruler, so I should count my blessings that my cognitive problems aren't that severe in the grand scheme of things...

Good luck!
I think a few of us are starting courses this autumn. I've signed up for a jewellery course, and applied to a local college for an intro to counselling course, which I have an informal interview for at the end of the month. And I'm hoping to do a more in depth Acceptance & Committment Therapy course cos I didn't really understand the last one.

not that i would want to back out but idk if i know what im getting into that requires time and stuff.

I think you should go for it! I'm really nervous about my craft class each week, but it's never as bad as I fear and I feel good about myself afterwards for going through with it and the others seem to enjoy it.

I don't really understand what the TSI thing is, but go for it! I think it'll be good for you to get out of the house more, and maybe you'll even make friends at the voluntary thing or college so you won't be so bored and lonely.

I only want my points to get to uni and then get a job.
It's all on hold with the gang stalking though.

I can relate to feeling that my life is on hold (cos I've deferred Uni again), but are there any smaller steps you could take so you still feel like you're making some forward motion? Eg my council has adult education classes which last for 10 weeks and include cooking, computer stuff, art and craft etc. You could practise building up to college again?

Otherwise you can do courses online if it's just a case of getting GCSEs or A Levels needed for Uni?
