I admire you for putting up with a call center job. I do outbound calling and find that many times I can sense things in people's voices. I get more sensitive to hearing people's state of mind in their voice. This job could be a training ground that could make you more sensitive to other people.
Since you lost your passion for things, do you think it is due to your meds, your job, or something else. If you are wiped out on the medicine you could talk to your psychiatrist about adjusting or changing meds.
WHat are you interested in the library books? That sounds like some definite interest.
I know creativity usually gets buried till the weekend when I can sleep enough to recover and get out of the grind.
