Like you, I don't have much passion for life when I am very depressed. Fortunately, there are tools such as therapists, meds, support groups such as this, and trying to be more active that help bring hope and a joy in living. Even getting out of doors for walks helps me, one step at a time. Trying the various tools or re-trying activities that once were enjoyed may help bring back hope and then a taste of joy that can be a start.
