I just want to tell some man that I finally got a TURP procedure (google it) and, after many years of struggling with a sensitive and troublesome bladder, I am now very comfortable and can hold my urine for HOURS. The procedure was quick, easy, very short recovery and I wish now that I had had it done a long time ago but I was scared to "loose" my "manhood".
I messed around with my bladder and almost contaminated my kidneys after the bladder filled up to the point where it was cutting off the blood circulation to my left leg - which alerted my doctor to a need to drain my bladder via a catheter and right after that, I went in for the TURP.
So, if some doctor recommends a TURP for you, GET IT!
