I just avoid these kind of things. Luckily I get to work alone most of the time, so I don't have to rub shoulders with co-workers that much.
A couple of my friends know I'm bipolar, but they don't seem to really care or even understand what that means. So it is ok for me.
I even joke about it myself sometimes... humor is good medicine.
