Have you tried a different brand of flea drops? My Mum's dog was allergic to one brand and would run around and writhe on the floor for an hour, as if his skin was on fire from it, poor thing. And my dog would vomit up one particular brand of flea tablet, so maybe a different brand would be better for Midnight?

Also be careful that you aren't triggered by your voluntary work and ensure that whomever you volunteer for provide adequate support for your health. You don't want to make yourself worse when trying to help others I have a training day coming up soon about non-accidental injury and I'm a bit worried about the role playing cos I was feeling sui only last week. The women in the centre know I have "lived experience" (that's the current in vogue term here! Lol), but the people running the course won't, and it's for generic NHS staff so I'm nervous about 'outing' myself too :/ It's nice that they're giving me free training though.

I hope you get out of hospital soon Can you part your hair differently to cover the bald spot?

Eta: Also struggling to go to sleep lately. I've been taking my med, but it doesn't seem to be working as well any more I used to take 10mg for years and it always worked, but this time 10mg only worked for a few months, so I'm now on 20mg, but that's not helping now. I could go up to 30mg, I'm sure my GP wouldn't object, but that's the max dose for sleep and I'm worried about what I would do if the 30mg stopped working...but it's getting to I can't drop off until about 5am, which means that I'm not getting up at a decent time again, which leads to my family calling me lazy all the time :/

Well I usually use frontline flea medicine. I get a 3 month supply. I don't use the kind you can get in the store, that even made tiger sick.

I will look into trying a different brand though, thanks for the suggestion.

Sorry you're not sleeping, that's tough.

It's gonna be awhile until I volunteer. I'm a mile away from a bus so I really need a car especially in the winter. It hurts my back too much to walk that far...
