Wow! Thanks for sharing your unique experience. I have the exact same thing. It correlates to my anxiety. So when I am stressed and anxious, I "have it on repeat". I think it's some sort of coping mechanism. Not sure if this would help, but you could try translating the repetitive music into a less obstructive repetitive motion such as playing a musical instrument or knitting. I have learned to be able to work around the music, so I do not mind it so much...and like I said it's only really bad when my anxiety is flare up.
