i just posted in another thread that i might joke about them, but i am on constant alert. constant. and the police force stays updated on them by calling me and asking if i'm okay......i never relax my vigilance and i hope they move soon.
i have a friend, Robert, who dated my youngest for a long time. after his parents died, i sorta became his surrogate mom. since the dog thing, he has come around A LOT.
his presence has certainly stopped some of their behavior. he is physically imposing and it's apparent that he is very watchful towards my safety. did that make sense.
anyway, Robert is here a lot during the day (works at night) while i'm at work. i'm afraid they will try to hurt my animals, so it helps that he is here.
and by the way, he's building me a beautiful brick patio with bricks that someone gave him.
i want to believe that their behavior is a lot of posturing, etc. but i still watch them all of the time.......it helps that we have the same landlord as he is aware of all of this.
i have to handle most of my stress with humour and this thread has helped a lot........
thanks for your concern........xoxoxox pat
p.s. i forgot to tell you all that when we cleaned up the old dead tree behind the yard, we took the small branches, made bundles and used them to "build a coyote fence" inside my chainlink fence. it gives me much more privacy from them and i like it because it is very organic.
