In the meantime, to avoid boredom and isolationist, I do a lot of volunteer work, working with social enterprise groups, teaching sculpture, a bit of ecological work, helping to set up art exhibits, renovating buildings and stuff like that.

Volunteering Eco work and setting up art exhibits that's work. You have tax deductions for volunteering I bet. Costs that you pay for if you are not reimbursed are tax deductions!
