Sometimes the side effects do in fact fade away... But some never go away .. There are some AP's that are weight neutral .. My expeirance with Seroquel was 20 lb weigh gain in 4 weeks .. It triggered my ED to the moon ... But everyone reacts differently to medications.. I know a few people that have lost weight taking it..

If your on a med and the side effects are not tolerable for you just tell your Pdoc you need to try something else .
