Last summer, my pdoc started me on Cymbalta. I got what I thought was intestinal flu. For SIX WHOLE WEEK I had terrible diarrhea. I was referred to a specialist by my pcp, to get a colonoscopy. Then, my wise, wise, sister asked if it could be my new meds? So I went to my (excellent) pdoc, and had a big FIT. I wanted off the Cymbalta. And guess what? As soon as I quit it, the diarrhea stopped. But I went ahead with the colonoscopy anyway -- that's not so bad, but the PREPARATION for it is HORRIBLE. I will never, ever, have another one. Oh, and then, I got hit with bed bugs. The managers of my building provided this huge list of things I "had to do." So I called in a bed-bug preparation company. They packed up 99.99% of EVERYTHING IN MY APARTMENT, including my clothes. And they charged me $3,000. For another six weeks, I had nothing but this mess in my apartment. Now, I have discovered a really good pesticide company. For $100 they spray a mild spray every 5-6 months, so I won't have a recurrence. They even move my furniture out, and then back into place. So I was swindled and scr***d by my managers and that company. So last summer was H.E.!!. This summer has been good. Whew! I'm glad that's over.
