One thing I will say and I have seen it over and over .. Patient X is started on medication A and then still having trouble so med B is added .. still having trouble lets add med C and increase A and B again .(on and on). You get the picture ...Sometimes meds just get upped and upped and added onto that. I see a lot of cases where people are just on so many meds and over medicated.
I think everyone thats on numerous meds need to sit down with there Pdoc occasionally and just review all the meds and doses .. Things can just be over looked and its not done on purpose of course ..
Just my opinion of course

This is what I am afraid of. But, at the same time, my pdoc was weaning me off of some of the drugs. She took me off of Saphris and dropped me from 400 mg to 150 mg of Lamictal overnight. It proved to be the wrong decision. However, she has, 50 mg at a time, gotten me back up to 400 mg of Lamictal and it still isn't working. This shows that I do indeed need the Lamictal and, I have a feeling she will put me back on saphris which I dread. I don't like being on so many meds in so high quantities. She does know this and it's the reason she was trying to wean me off of some of my meds. I just hope it's not like this the rest of my life.
