I think you need to put up stronger boundaries when it comes to her . You wanted to yell at her but yet you went ahead and told her about your injury . Your a nice guy .. But you should not talk to her at all about anything and I think you know that.. Refusing to speak to her isnt rude .. Its what you need to do.

Talking to HR right now is probably not a good idea at all since you have a workers comp claim .. No need to give them an excuse to let you go ..
