I have just politely said 'No one checked that I was available Tues and Thurs nights as well (we are always asked availability during fieldwork weeks) so if I do one of these nights I will be leaving early on Friday afternoon'.

And it is only going to get worse, and I am just sick of feeling like I may as well be pushing the proverbial up hill in terms of how much I am getting one
