No Jan, not honey ... this is thick and sweet and syrupy.
My sister used to make a similar recipe to the Anzac biscuits but kinda like a slice (like an easy my-first-cooking type thing, but it's sooo yummy), and I would get excited ... then she would disappear with the bowl of mixture the little tart.
She was allowed to do it occasionally because it was really just rolled oats and coconut and golden syrup ... then she started making cake mixture and eating that, which was stopped rather quickly!
My sister: 5 foot 8-ish (taller than me) and slim and flat everywhere! Grrrrrr.
