I was 19 when I went to the therapist the second time and I just made an initial appointment. Do you have insurance. If so call the mental health number on the back of the card and get some names and numbers. Randomly choose one that sounds nice or look thief names up online call and get an appointment and go. If you need help with reasons to tell your parents your seeing a therapist ask the therapist. I personally just said " I got some issues I need to work out" if your over 18 your an adult.(hugs)
