Hubby has made it through the first bout of selection to be on a game show. Tomorrow he has his second skype chat/interview with the casting directors but so far it sounds very promising. The first two interviews(one phone one skype) went smashing and they loved him. He is over the moon ecstatic and I'm very happy for him but all I can see is the downsides and questions that nag at me. This bothers me greatly and I wondered how many other people also look at the practical/downside of everything.
All I can think is how happy he is and how disappointed he will be if he doesn't get on. If he gets on he will be crushed if he doesn't win. IF he wins what does that do to his SSI?? I mean being on a game show is not sustainable income but if he won a substantial amount would he have to reapply? Would they just cut him off for a few months? He owes back taxes. Will the IRS just yank his winnings or will we see any of it?? All this swirls through my mind and I can't just enjoy the moment. I guess all I can say is WORRIERS OF THE WORLD UNITE!!
