What bothers me most, is that 2 other people (the instigators I mentioned above) have brought it up in a way that makes it pretty clear they know what's going on.... and are harassing me about it....

I have to admit I may have told one of the instigators myself about my frustration.... I did see him as a friend a while back and we talked about a lot of things... and the 2 instigators know each other.... so, it's possible that it's not the shopkeeper who is causing my issues with the 2 instigators.
