I tried mushrooms in college and I couldn't sleep with the light off for two weeks. I don't have the type of brain that can handle hallucination. My only advice is if you decide to do this is to have a sober person you trust with you and be in a safe place. It was so scary I still shudder thinking about it 12 years later.
